How to read the label
What is on the label is what is in the vial.
Every figure below is counted from the published lot registry. Each vial’s label carries the lot number that resolves to its record here.
- 31Published lot records
- 28Compounds in catalog
- HPLC + MSPurity and identity
- Third-partyIndependent laboratory
01
Compound and mass
The label states the compound and the mass in the vial. Both match the product page the lot was released against.
02
Lot number
The lot number is the key to everything else. Search it in the library above to reach that lot’s record and certificate.
03
Research use marking
Every label carries the research-use marking. Materials are supplied for qualified laboratory research only.
What we test
What each analysis answers.
These are the analyses our lot records carry. A test panel varies by material and lot — each lot record lists exactly what was run for that lot, and nothing is implied beyond it.
HPLC purity
Relative purity of the material measured by high-performance liquid chromatography, reported as a percentage for the specific lot.
Identity
Confirmation that the material is the compound named on the label, determined by mass spectrometry.
Analytical method
The instrument method used for the lot is recorded beside the result, so a figure is never separated from how it was produced.
Testing laboratory
Testing is performed by an independent laboratory. The laboratory is named on each lot record.
Test date
When the lot was analysed. Published on the record and fixed once the lot is released.
Release date
When the lot was released for sale, so the interval between analysis and release is visible rather than implied.
Lot traceability
The lot number printed on the vial resolves to one record in this library. That is the link between the material in hand and its analysis.
Additional assays
Some materials carry further analyses. Where a lot records one it appears on that lot’s record — never assume an assay that is not listed.
